At the end of a year of varied and interesting experiences the young people and their parents attended a barbeque, sponsored by the Belle Group, at the Village Hall on Monday evening. The occasion marks the stepping down of the founder and leader of HYPAC for so many years, Liz Broomhead MBE. It was fantastic that a number of ‘graduates’ of HYPAC were able to attend and could speak eloquently and forcefully of the value gained from attending. HYPAC will continue on Monday evenings in September under the leadership of Mark Webley. Liz – thank you for having the inspiration to dream up HYPAC and for creating a rich tapestry of experiences for the young people of our community.
