New Yoga class at Hartington Village Hall

A new yoga activity will start weekly on March 18th at 10.00am ( 60 mins session). The class leader will be Anne Kemp-Eyre (see www.friendshipyoga.co.uk ). The first one hour class will be Yin yoga –  a slow-paced style of yoga, the postures are held for longer periods and the relaxing postures help to alleviate any stress/tension, enhance breath awareness, and develop mindfulness.  Read more…

Informal Flora

There will be 2 classes in the Village Hall where we shall be doing “Flowers for Mother’s Day,” and “Flowers for Easter,” when it is hoped old and new people will come along. Hartington Village Hall Lottery 2021-2022:  In the past two years our lottery has raised around £5,000 in income while 24 lucky winners have benefitted from prize monies totalling £3600. Using the lottery profits as ‘seed’ money we have secured £65,000 in grants to refurbish the Village Hall. To date we have 80 subscriptions for the  2021/2022 lottery with the objective of funding a major kitchen refurbishment. We look forward to your support in our quest to continue to make our community owned Village Hall the best it can possibly be. First draw happens on Wednesday 13th October (two prizes of £100).
