Hartington Community Group have acquired 1800m of bunting. We have measured the frontage of properties along The Dale, Market Place, Mill Lane, Hyde Lane, Church Street, Dig Street up to the Surgery, Bankside, Stonewell Lane and Hall Bank. Individual lengths have been cut and will be delivered to properties on the 27th and 28th May. By using the same design we hope that the bunting has a community wide impact. After the celebrations we ask that you return the bunting in the original bag marked with your property address and place it in the crate located below the bench outside the Village Hall. If you need help to put the bunting out either ask a member of the Hartington Community Group or a neighbour for help. We do advise against using ladders – keep it simple and safe by draping over a wall or hanging between windows. Sadly we cannot provide bunting for every property in the Parish, so we concentrated on the roads radiating from the village centre.
