Hartington Village Hall: some great news that will hopefully lighten somewhat the virus driven doom and gloom. We have finally secured planning permission for a new roof for our Village Hall. Work should begin in early April to replace the current time expired asbestos tiles with a lightweight slate tile. Insulation will be added and the guttering and pipework will also be replaced. A HUGE thank you to all from our community, individuals and businesses, who have supported our fund raising during the last 15 months. We are also in receipt of grants to the tune of £20K which were only possible because of our own fund raising.
