Food for thought, a reminder that St Giles’ Church supports Ashbourne Food Bank. Donations please of food items ( tins, dried goods, baby food etc.), as well as disposable nappies, soap, shaving foam and so on. All items will be gratefully received. Please give what you can and leave your donations in the boxes inside the church. We regret we cannot accept homemade or perishable items. On behalf of people who have so little, thank you so much.

- Celebrating 70 years of Peak District National Park rangers 17th April 2024Peak District rangers returned to their roots to mark their 70th anniversary. As part of the celebrations, National Park rangers recreated a photograph taken outside Edale's Old Nags Head pub, where the original service was launched on Good Friday, 16th April 1954.

- Celebrating volunteers in the Peak District National Park 20th March 2024Peak District volunteers came together in a day to recognise the many ways they contribute to the work of the National Park. Around 140 people took part in the Volunteers Day, held at Lady Manners School in Bakewell.
