The thirteenth Hartington Advent Window 2019, in Hartington Royal British Legion and lit at 5pm, was a two-part scene. The upper window contains a stunning hand-knitted nativity scene complete with Mary, Joseph and Jesus, shepherds and their sheep, the star, the Angel and the Three Kings fully loaded with gifts. The lower window a snow scene with a Christmas Tree and Santa. Great effort Harold and Jen.

The next Hartington Advent Window 2019 will light earlier tomorrow, Saturday 14th, at approximately 4.45pm. The lantern parade will commence on a tour of all the advent windows at 4pm from the Village Hall and as the parade passes Grove Cottage on The Square Window number 14 will be lit. The parade will then stop at the Christmas Tree for the official switch on of the Christmas Lights and then to the Village Hall for Carols.

Do come along to sing the carols and to support everyone involved in the making of the lanterns and the designing of windows.
