The Hartington Christmas tree festival took place on Saturday 13th December 2014 and the village was bubbling with activity.
Several vintage tractors were at the event adorned with festive lights and decorations and some fantastic steam powered traction engines were also on display. A number of flags were erected at the duck pond and some cool lighting was set up from the back of a van firing what could be displayed as laser beams across the village!
The Christmas tree lights were switched on by David Annat at 5 pm and then a number of people went to the village hall for the switch on of the 18 donated Christmas trees; free mulled wine and mince pies finishing off a wonderful evening.
