Hartington Community Group: 28 volunteers have just about completed a clearance of litter from our village and surrounding roads, lanes and tracks. The impact is so very clear for all to see and we thank each and every one for their time and dedication in recent weeks. Sadly the message has not reached everyone – the attached image shows fridge parts dumped 300m up the left hand track from the ‘crossroads’ on Reynards Lane. Dumped in the last few days. HCG have signed up the ‘Great British Spring Clean’ for the period 28th May-13th June ( https://www.keepbritaintidy.org/get-involved/support-our-campaigns/great-british-spring-clean ).
