Dovedale Dipper Success

The Dovedale Dipper Challenge, starting and finishing at Hartington Village Hall on Sunday 4th August, was a great success with over 400 participating in the 26 mile run/walk and the shorter 15 mile ramble. Hall Bank Still Closed

Despite signs saying Hall Bank Closed 20/08/19 it is still closed and access only as far as Victoria House. Visitors to the Youth Hostel should follow the diversion signs and approach the YHA from Heathcote. No evidence of any work by Severn Trent to refill the hole so far today.
