The local elections in May this year will be the first that require Photo ID for voters to be able to cast their vote.
Make sure you have the correct Photo ID in place ready for voting.
Check the Electoral Commision link to find out what is acceptable as Photo ID.
Photo ID will also be needed for other elections from 4th May too and for General Elections from October 2023. Don’t lose your vote !
