Day 69 of Hartington Virtual Open Gardens and today we revisit Jess’ garden where lockdown has provided time to install a fantastic new pond. What a great effort and one that fits nicely in with “Wild June” being promoted by the Wildlife Trusts. The photos feature:

  • Border in bloom
  • All the pinks
  • Catching the evening light
  • Internal structure to provide shelves, shallows and escape routes.
  • The finished pond, now complete with tadpoles!

Thanks for all the photos so far. Daily updates will continue until at least June 10th. Please continue to send photos, new gardens or repeat visits to show how gardens have developed through the spring. So far over 40 different gardens have featured. Send max 5 photos and a short commenatry to hartingtongardens@btinternet.com

The next garden will feature at 9.00am on June 9th
