Congratulation to Dr. J. MCA. Williams on his 100th Birthday- Many of our readers will remember Dr Williams- he was a general practitioner based in Hartington from 1954- 1986; firstly, in partnership with Dr. G.K Lloyd followed by a period of about 7 years single handed before entering into partnership with Dr. E. M. Bradbury in 1975. He built and lived in the house standing at the bottom of Reynards Lane – now called Fox Hollow- his 2 daughters attended St Elphin’s School at Darley Dale. There is a card in Hartington Post Office if you would like to sign – before March 15th please.
