Crimestoppers launch a rural crime awareness campaign

Crimestoppers have launched a rural crime awareness campaign.

This initiative highlights the impact of these types of crime, such as theft of machinery, vehicles, oil, metal and livestock, as well as burglary, illegal waste dumping and wildlife crime.

It also promotes the use of their 0800 555 111 number to report any information about rural crime. This phone number is completely anonymous and callers don’t have to give a statement to the police or go to court.
